Back-blogging

Reading your post on "thinking of myself" reminded me of one statement in Blue Like Jazz that really stuck with me. It was from a few weeks ago..thus, the back-blog. The author said,

"For a moment, sitting there above the city, I imagined life outside narcissism. I wondered how beautiful it might be to think of others as more important than myself."

I could relate.
