Advent - waiting expectantly to celebrate the coming of the Christ Child - waiting also to celebrate God's full Kingdom and reign of peace. The color blue signifies the dawning of a new day; celebrates HOPE!!
May this, the first season in the Christian calendar, be a new day for you. May you face it with HOPE that God will arrive in new and wonderful ways in your life. May you, with Mary, say "My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior" (even in bewilderment - like Mary - as to how He will do what He will do!)
